I remember the days before life became so busy. I used to get so excited when the weekend was coming because I knew I was going to buy some yarn, cast on a new project, and spend the entire weekend knitting. Those weekends are some of my favorite memories, and I wanted to create a kit that brings that feeling back.

Tea has always been a part of my life, too. As a Jamaican, I grew up hearing my mom, my grandfather, and just about every elder say, "Drink tea." If your head hurt, drink tea. If your hand or your leg hurt, drink tea. It didn't matter what the problem was, tea was always the answer!

I still love a good cup of tea while I knit. My favorites are simple black tea, green tea, and ginger tea. I'll try fruit teas every now and then, but I always find myself coming back to the classics.
