Stacey DK Tweed
87% Wool • 13% Donegal Viscose • DK Weight
Stacey is a very personal yarn.
Named after my middle name, Stacey is inspired by me, my moods, and the different sides of who I am. I wanted this yarn to feel earthy, soft, natural, and a little unexpected, with colors that can move from gentle and quiet to deep and grounded.
Stacey is made with a beautiful Donegal Tweed DK base from Rooster Yarns. The yarn is spun in Peru and combines wool with colorful Donegal viscose neps that resist the dye. This allows the little tweed flecks to remain visible throughout the yarn, giving each colorway its own character and depth.
Because Stacey is a non superwash yarn, it has a more natural wool feel while still being soft and comfortable to wear. The tweed flecks add texture and interest without taking away from the beauty of the hand dyed color.

Most Yarn Nerds yarn is hand dyed after your order is placed. Please allow 10 to 14 business days for your yarn to be dyed, washed, dried, twisted, labeled, and prepared for shipping. If your yarn is already dyed and ready to ship, it will ship sooner.
Please note that Stacey is a non superwash yarn. Because it has not been treated to prevent felting, handle it gently when washing and avoid agitation.
