Cali Cowl II

The Cali Cowl II is inspired by our new Limited Edition yarn from Yarn Nerds. This special yarn was spun at a mill right here in Michigan by Coyote Run Fireworks, and I am so excited to share this truly Michigan-made product with you. This design also pays tribute to my original Cali Cowl, which I released in 2021. I took many of the elements I loved from that pattern and reimagined them for this new version, creating a fresh design while honoring the original inspiration. Each skein is hand dyed with Detroit's beautiful Belle Isle as the inspiration, capturing the peaceful colors of the Botanical Gardens and the Koi Pond. I hope this cowl brings a little piece of Belle Isle's beauty and tranquility to your knitting.

• 1 skein Yarn Nerds Belle Isle DK (244 yds / 223 m, 100 g), milled in Michigan and hand dyed by Yarn Nerds in Detroit, Michigan
• US 7 (4.5 mm) 24" (60 cm) circular knitting needle
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch marker
• Scissors

Gauge (blocked)

• 4 stitches and 8 rows = 1" (2.5 cm) in seed stitch
